Terms of use

1. Purpose of the service

LSP Voyage is a content and comparison site that aggregates travel offers (flights, hotels, rentals, activities) from third-party suppliers, and publishes free editorial content (guides, articles, tips).

We are not a travel agency. We sell no travel service. Every booking is concluded directly between you and the end supplier (Booking.com, the airline, the rental company, etc.). The transport or accommodation contract is governed by their terms, not ours.

2. User account

You can use basic search without an account. To get price alerts, comparison history and the Explorer subscription, a free account is required.

• You must be at least 16 to create an account.
• The information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Tell us immediately about any unauthorised use.
• One account per individual. Multiple accounts created to get around free-plan limits may be suspended.

3. Paid subscriptions and payments

The Explorer plan (CAD $14 / month, or $134 / year) unlocks unlimited searches and price alerts, full price history and early access to deals.

• Payments are processed by Stripe. You never give us your card number directly.
• The subscription is monthly, renews automatically, and can be cancelled at any time from your account.
• On cancellation, access stays active until the end of the paid period. No pro-rata refund for remaining days.
• Prices are shown excluding tax; applicable taxes (GST, QST, VAT) are added at payment according to your country of residence.

4. Third-party links and affiliate links

The site contains many links to partners (Booking.com, Hostelworld, Aviasales, etc.). Most are affiliate links: see our affiliate disclosure for the details.

We do not control the content, availability, prices or policies of those third-party sites. Clicking an external link places you under the jurisdiction of the site you visit. Always check their terms and privacy policy before booking.

5. Accuracy of displayed data

The prices, availability, schedules and descriptions shown come in near real timefrom our partners' APIs. Despite our care, occasional discrepancies can occur:

• A displayed price can be a few minutes out of date while the partner updates its inventory.
• Local taxes, service fees and options (baggage, meals) can be added at final booking.
• The displayed currency is converted from the partner's reference currency; the final charge depends on the rate applied by your bank.

The price that counts is the one shown on the partner's final confirmation page, once all options and taxes are applied. We encourage you to always check before confirming.

6. Intellectual property

The original content published on LSP Voyage (blog articles, guides, code, design, logos) is protected by copyright. You may share it for personal use provided you credit the source. Any commercial reproduction (republishing on another site, embedding in an app, systematic scraping) is prohibited without written permission.

Partner trademarks, logos and databases (Booking.com, Hostelworld, Aviasales, etc.) remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Prohibited use

You undertake not to:

• Use the site for illegal, fraudulent or defamatory purposes, or in a way that harms others.
• Attempt to access, probe or compromise the security of the service (mass scraping, denial of service, authentication bypass).
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the site's source code.
• Create automated accounts (bots) or use the service at scale in order to resell it.
• Use our affiliate links to generate cashback or bookings for yourself, in line with our partners' terms (Booking.com prohibits self-bookings).

Any breach leads to immediate account suspension and, where applicable, legal action.

8. Limits of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• LSP Voyage is provided « as is » and « as available ». We do not warrant the absence of errors, the permanent accuracy of prices, or uninterrupted availability of the site.
• We are in no case liable for the final service (flight cancellation, disappointing hotel, lost baggage, denied boarding, etc.). Those disputes are settled directly with the supplier.
• Our total liability, in the unlikely event it is engaged, is limited to the amount you have actually paid us over the last 12 months (often $0 for free users).
• No limitation of liability applies in the case of gross or intentional fault, or for harm to life or physical integrity, as the law requires.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms to reflect legal or product changes. The update date appears at the top. If a significant change affects your rights, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance.

You can close your account at any time, without notice or justification. We may suspend or close an account in case of breach of these terms, informing you by email within a reasonable period.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of Quebec (Canada). Any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montreal, save where a mandatory provision states otherwise (consumers residing in the European Union, for example).
